How does it work?
When a company contracts a doctor from House Call Seattle, we come to your workplace a certain number of times per week or month. It really depends on how big your company is and what your specific needs are. Once we can determine how often and when, then we’ll set up custom appointment times for you on our easy online scheduling system. Employees can reserve their times using the easy online scheduling system.
Once at your workplace, the doctor will begin by meeting with any employees who are interested. A consultation and exam will be performed on each person and if found to be appropriate, then a treatment can begin the same day. In special cases, some patients may need to see the doctor on a more frequent basis depending upon the severity of their complaints in order to get a problem under control. In which case, the individual can then make the additional appointments on their own time.
How much does it cost?
We offer several convenient options to choose from:
1. Insurance-based plan. If care is already offered as a benefit under the company insurance plan, treatments can be billed just the same as if the employee were to visit the doctor at his or her office. If patients would normally be required to provide a co-pay, they would still do so.
2. Company paid plans. In this case, the company offering the benefit would pay the doctor a set fee based on a monthly contract. The fee is determined based on the number of hours the doctor is expected to be on-site and/or the number of patients he or she is expected to treat.
3. Company subsidized plans. This is a hybrid of the two plans mentioned above. The employer will set up the contract with the doctor and pay a portion of the fee with employees who use the service paying the rest of the fee at the time of treatment.
